I bought a Sony Reader this weekend; I wish i hadn’t I cant find any free books; and the disk with a 100 books on in the box; aren’t to my interest.
Does anyone now any torrents for eBooks or websites with free books to download; after paying 245 I don’t really want to pay for books 4 a bit; so please don’t suggest waterstones.co.uk

http://www.gutenberg.org (with over 27,000 free e-books, they should have something for you)
http://manybooks.net
http://www.munseys.com
http://www.webliterature.net
http://www.feedbooks.com
Then do a search for "free e-books" and you will find many more links.
Newer books are under copyright protection, so you will have a much harder time finding free e-book versions.
