I have a Sony PRS-300, and it cannot be read in the dark. Do any of the new EReaders have an internal light? My son’s gameboy from 5 years ago can be played in the dark, so I’d think that some Ereader has a built in light. Thanks
No backlight and you’ll need to get an extra light if you want to read in the dark. All ebook readers don’t have backlight for ease of reading. Just imagine if we read books with screen of gameboy for long hours, it will definitely hurt our eyes.
So like on the Amazon Kindle, you should get a light similar to this one:

So you need to get an external light that can work with your ebook reader.
