Just because the big business deserves to make money. We gave our jobs to the anti democracies and now we’re slowly losing ours.
I bet after this recession brought on by the US housing market and so on, countries who we shipped our jobs to, like China, will be looking else ware to make tons of money with their cheap and sometimes dangerous products.
This is a very good question.
The simple answer is as long as theres money to be made.
In the UK the Government have been encouraging companies to dump British workers and ship production to places like China because-
It helps Banks make huge profits on the exchange rate mechanism.
It gets hugely profitable goods into High Street retailers which are bought on credit so the Banks charge high interest rates and make more money.
The goods are bought in so cheap, and then rebranded by retailers with their own "reputable" name, to disguise the products origins, and then sold on to gullible consumers at inflated prices, the Governments cash in on VAT taxation.
Consumers effectivelly borrow money off the Banks on credit cards, to buy over inflated price goods, which they cant afford, in order to line the pockets of the Banks and Government.
Of course by doing this Government and Bank sponsored borrowing and buying of Chinese goods, consumers are depriving themselves and their fellow countrymen of jobs, and British industry of investment.
Apart from this the Banks, Government and Consumers are wittingly and with full knowledge supporting a regime well known for executions, injustice, torture, corruption, cruelty and oppression.
Money is a great smokescreen, and justifies anything.

It all depends on how long consumers continue to buy up piles of products made in china. We have the power to refuse to buy anything we don’t agree with, but money seems to be valued more than anything else.
I guess that explains the election results as well, since we essentially voted for wealth at the expense of losing liberties.

We’ve got a choice…we can get cheap tvs at Walmart or we can stand on political principal. Doesn’t look as though we can do both. We no longer manufacture goods in this country.
