Just because the big business deserves to make money. We gave our jobs to the anti democracies and now we’re slowly losing ours.

I bet after this recession brought on by the US housing market and so on, countries who we shipped our jobs to, like China, will be looking else ware to make tons of money with their cheap and sometimes dangerous products.

This is a very good question.

The simple answer is as long as theres money to be made.

In the UK the Government have been encouraging companies to dump British workers and ship production to places like China because-

It helps Banks make huge profits on the exchange rate mechanism.

It gets hugely profitable goods into High Street retailers which are bought on credit so the Banks charge high interest rates and make more money.

The goods are bought in so cheap, and then rebranded by retailers with their own "reputable" name, to disguise the products origins, and then sold on to gullible consumers at inflated prices, the Governments cash in on VAT taxation.

Consumers effectivelly borrow money off the Banks on credit cards, to buy over inflated price goods, which they cant afford, in order to line the pockets of the Banks and Government.

Of course by doing this Government and Bank sponsored borrowing and buying of Chinese goods, consumers are depriving themselves and their fellow countrymen of jobs, and British industry of investment.

Apart from this the Banks, Government and Consumers are wittingly and with full knowledge supporting a regime well known for executions, injustice, torture, corruption, cruelty and oppression.

Money is a great smokescreen, and justifies anything.

With a large number of e-books in existence, if you could buy one on any topic what would it be?

how to motivate people in business

I plan to buy an e-reader. I am not sure which one. I was curios as to whether I would be able to upload e-books I may already have saved to my computer. Also, in addition are you able to annotate?
I bought a PDF version of a textbook for my class also, and instead of using my laptop I would like to read it on a kindle. Is it possible?

You can read PDF on the Kindle or Nook without problem. See the section "Files Kindle Recognizes" on the official page here for the file formats supported by the Amazon Kindle:

I own the Kindle 2. If you ask me to choose again now, I’ll still go for the Kindle instead of the Nook, because I think the web browsing function is rather important (the Nook does not have a web browser). The free internet (and now it is free international internet) plus the web browser allow me to look for information whenever I’m in need. It is really a cool feature that cannot be missed. And right now it is free for both the U.S. and many other countries, it is just incredible when you bring it to trip.

I like to use the text-to-speech function on the Kindle too, meaning that I can "read" with my hands and eyes free…

And I remember I read these reviews when I decided to get my Kindle:

Hope it helps :)

And do they ever re-use them in other movies?

They make most of them.
Or they buy them and modify them to their needs.

Yes, they reuse them…
They are stored in the production companies Prop Department and recalled when needed.

the thought scares me personally, how interpersonal and away from tactile experience we are getting as a western society.

I’m not going to answer this question based on money basis. It is about pure satisfaction.
Apart from the story itself, there are a lot of things to like in a book. The fonts, the smell of the paper, the thrill you get,the desire to finish the book even when you see it is larger(Quote:Think of Harry Potter here or LOTR).
And added to the fact is that with a book, you can absolutely use it to your own desire and satisfaction.
The secret peek in it gives, the sweet memories when you reread a book, and when a book is good and when you see it being lengthier the cajoling you do to yourself(just another one or two chapters and I’ll be off to work or sleep) in order to get more of it….

And E-Books might cause harm to your eyes, unlike printed books. And there is the fact that you might not get the pace of the book just reading it electronically.Because you will get tired of looking into a screen and the dragging or the usage of cursor after some time(especially with a story with a great pace, you’ll think that the e-book is slowing your pace down).Things like that happened to me.
Nope.I never think E-books can replace printed books.At-least not to me.

I need all the help I can get step by step. What program do others use that alows the customer to download or print an e card or e book after they have purchased it. Somehow they are given a link or are redirected to a page with the product. I always wonder how they do this.

call your local SBA (small business association) they should be able to help point you in the right direction… not to mention help finalize a business plan and help secure financing…

How would you compare the books Howards End and A Roon with a View by E.M. Forster?
would you compare the two books in the way he wrote them, or look at them through a new historicist’s perspective or something else?

These should help.
