Cheap eBook Store ?

I’ve read that the price for the kobo ereader is to be $150 for a limited time. What does that mean in this situation? Is the price going to rise or fall? Also, are there going to be other cheap, barebones ereaders later from the hundreds of companies at CTIA this year who had ebook readers or should I jump at this one?

"For a limited time" means just that, the price is only good for until a certain date. It’s frequently an introductory price or perhaps for the grand opening of a store, any excuse for a price cut. After the date specified the price goes up to the regular price.

So cover is something that doesn’t contain the whole eReader, just protect the surface of it. The case is something that contain the whole eReader.

Trying to work out whether the Ipad is going to clean up the market as far as ebooks go. I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting before buying an ereader.

Kindle is sure a worth buying. Wireless is a unique feature I will say and that’s make really value for money. 3G wireless and global coverage, I personally travel a lot and really worthy for me. You can have any newspaper at any place and also they are cheaper. The best selling value for the Kindle is convenience for the travel, it’s pretty handy and easy to carry anywhere with you. The other important thing matters to me are speedy for downloading books and reading material. Also it allow around average size of 1500 books and reading material to store, so is a significant amount of storage space to bring with you. In one line I can say “you are carrying your book shelf with you”.
Also one of the other feature of Kindle is it’s E-INK screen technology that don’t glare in any light so no strain to eyes and you can read for hours.

Also you save a lot in compare to the actual books, the books on kindle are really cheaper so I have saved a lot till now. Also there are plenty of books on kindle to choose. Also it has so good features such as Text-To-Speech which is really useful when you get bored or doing some other activity.

i am a beginner and now i am passionate in this photography thing. It just a hobby but i really want to take good pictures and wanted to be pro. i am thinking of going to photography classes but before i go to class, i need to know the basics and a little advance will be fine. Help.

Books are all very good but there’s nothing like knowing your gear and practice, practice, practice.
Watch what others are doing, seek out Flickr pages here on Yahoo and see if there’s anything you like.

If you like what they’re doing learn from them then shoot, shoot and shoot some more. There’s no such thing as too much practice.

Then, after every shoot upload and look. Critique your own stuff for focus, framing, lighting, etc., and be critical with your self. Then, go practice some more.

I’ve been at this business, in one way or another, for 30-years and I’ll bet Nick P, another friend here on Yahoo Cameras would agree, I learn something every time I pick up the camera.

I like this example. If you go to a concert watch the piano player. You can bet he / she didn’t start playing last night. It’s exactly the same with photography - no such thing as too much practice.

Try this to pull up your address book—and to insert one or multiple addresses.

With Classic Mail:
>Click on Forward or New.
>Click directly on the word TO and your mailing list (address book) opens.

Just in case you’re using the New Yahoo Mail
>Click on "New or Forward".

In either case—the addresses will be inserted on the address line for you and all you have to do then, is "Send".

I would like to write an e-Book, but once I publish it, I don’t want people copying and pasting it somewhere else. How can I make it to where copying and pasting my work is no longer an option?

That’s easier said then done. And if they really want it, they will simply type it out.
I recommend looking into formal copyrighting in your area.
I am not entirely sure, but if you post a book on-line for free, it might cause copyright issues. I recommend looking into it.

I’m very interested to pursue a medical transcription course; but it would be of a great help if I had a good study-material/ guide book on that subject.
So if anyone can help me with such an e-book or any download link of such materials, I’ll be greatly thankful to him/ her…

I have loads of them, I used to have them all at my fingertips, on the computer, and I don’t know what happened but my computer changed about a month ago, and I don’t know why or what I did to it, but I must have done something, because i can’t get any of the e-book-readers that I have installed to come up, or any of the 100’s of e-books that I have purchased to display.
