Cheap eBook Store ?
I have a Sony PRS-300, and it cannot be read in the dark. Do any of the new EReaders have an internal light? My son’s gameboy from 5 years ago can be played in the dark, so I’d think that some ereader has a built in light. Thanks
No backlight and you’ll need to get an extra light if you want to read in the dark. All ebook readers don’t have backlight for ease of reading. Just imagine if we read books with screen of gameboy for long hours, it will definitely hurt our eyes.
So like on the Amazon Kindle, you should get a light similar to this one:

Hm, I would say…elephant? What do you think?
yea. elephant or ear
And do they ever re-use them in other movies?
They make most of them.
Or they buy them and modify them to their needs.
Yes, they reuse them…
They are stored in the production companies Prop Department and recalled when needed.
Well…hi!…I can buy them but my mother is not letting me buy them….she says that i have already saw the movies and i know them by heart….behind it is because it is about vampires….she says it demons….so i do not want to vex and piss her off over that….so i need to read the four books of the twilight saga!!
Thanks for you help!!!! hey smart mouths shut up!!
Several web sites offer online full-texts of books that are out of copyright, e.g. www.gutenberg.org.
However, aside from the copyright owner, which is almost always the author or their publisher, ANYONE who posts, distributes, or transmits the text of these books online is violating both the U.S. and the International Copyright laws, infringing on Intellectual Property, and can be fined and jailed for it. (In general, anything first published within the last 52 years in the U.S. will still be in copyright. When the law was changed, it became copyright duration matched the rest of the work, i.e. the author’s/copyright owner’s lifetime plus 50 years.)
Writers make a living by creating their work. To read or use it without paying for it, is STEALING, pure and simple.
If the work is valuable enough to read, it must be paid for.
Does anyone now where i can download a free audio book to the romeo and juliet story?

There’s a zip file of the mp3 you can download there. Or the individual acts can be downloaded.
Ive recently heard about the ereader or ebook. I know they have been out for a while, but I just started looking into it.
I was wondering what exactly they are. I love to read but my books are starting to take up ALOT of space (I do like to read some books several times).
If someone can explain to me how they work, how much it is to put books onto the reader, etc. I would greatly appreciate it.
The best ereader right nowis the Amazon Kindle. I own the Kindle 2 and I like it very much. Basically, Amazon produces this device, and it makes a lot of books become available in electronic version. There are over 350,000 Kindle books that we can buy and read on the Kindle right now, and the number of books available is keep on increasing (I remember there are only 270,000 Kindle books when I bought my Kindle a few months ago).
I like my Kindle because I can buy books at a cheaper rate compared to actual books, and I can replace all heavy books with this handy device. I can bring it wherever I want to, so I can utilize my time whenever I’ve some free time (like I’m waiting for friends, shuttle bus, or whatever).
I like to read and at the beginning I missed a bit on the feeling of reading books. But now I love to hold the Kindle, the e-ink work very well, it is really like reading books… Now I often read with the Kindle for several hours but I don’t feel tired… And now I prefer to keep and organize all my books on my Kindle rather than organizing all the physical books, it is really much more convenient.
I remember I read these reviews when I decided to get my Kindle:

Finally, in case you don’t know, Amazon has put a price slash on the Kindle 2 just before Christmas, and it is now selling $100 cheaper than the price I got my Kindle, and it adds in international wireless access and native PDF support… So take the chance if you want it.
Hope it helps
i wrote a book and i would like a publishing company to read it but i can’t find a good one.
No publisher will.
Get a copy of Writer’s Market 2009, and look for Agents and publishers who work with your type of book. You don’t need an Agent first, but it is HIGHLY SUGGESTED. Write queries to a few agents, and wait. If they get back to you, they’ll help submit your book to a publisher.
the thought scares me personally, how interpersonal and away from tactile experience we are getting as a western society.
I’m not going to answer this question based on money basis. It is about pure satisfaction.
Apart from the story itself, there are a lot of things to like in a book. The fonts, the smell of the paper, the thrill you get,the desire to finish the book even when you see it is larger(Quote:Think of Harry Potter here or LOTR).
And added to the fact is that with a book, you can absolutely use it to your own desire and satisfaction.
The secret peek in it gives, the sweet memories when you reread a book, and when a book is good and when you see it being lengthier the cajoling you do to yourself(just another one or two chapters and I’ll be off to work or sleep) in order to get more of it….
And E-Books might cause harm to your eyes, unlike printed books. And there is the fact that you might not get the pace of the book just reading it electronically.Because you will get tired of looking into a screen and the dragging or the usage of cursor after some time(especially with a story with a great pace, you’ll think that the e-book is slowing your pace down).Things like that happened to me.
Nope.I never think e-books can replace printed books.At-least not to me.
My friend recently got a Sony ereader, and since today’s her birthday, I wanted to surprise her with a gift card for it. Is there a way I can get the card onto her account, instead of just handing her the card? (Sorry if this is confusing…)
I don’t think so. The only way you can get books is through the credit card. You could just give her money and say like, "Here, buy a book, it’s on me!"
Hope I helped!
